GODZILLA

Our name for this movie is Borezilla or Dogzilla or don'tseethiszilla. We left before it was over; just couldn't take anymore. I rated it a 2 (only because Bryan Cranston from breaking bad was in the first 1/8th of the movie and was the only good actor who had some semi-intelligent lines.); bill rated it a 4 ("just for the effort with the special effects")

Everything about this movie was yawn inducing; the acting, the dialogue, the sets, the endless blur of monsters, the ridiculous tension-lacking non-action. A waste of time.

  1. Oh come on! I grew up with Godzilla in the 60's. It's suppose to be BAD! That's the beauty of it. I respect you very highly, but please give credit where it is due. At least give it a B for BAD !!!

  4. It WAS my browser! Firefox words fine.

Anyway, I just thought it a bit weird that for a change I liked an action movie (Godzilla) when I usually dislike all the ones you love (Avengers, Iron Man etc). Although I also agree the actors talents were wasted and the army guys all looked alike and as usual the women were all helpless/dying/inane. But, hey I'm used to that by now. The great part was the almost courtly nature of the beast Godzilla. And, unlike the hapless King Kong, he lived to fight another day.
